Read the Kramers latest
prayer
letter.
Coming from opposite ends
of the country, Sean from
California and Tina from
Pennsylvania, the Kramers
were brought together
through a summer missionary
training program.
Sean became a Christian
in high school through
a beach Bible study ministry.
Tina accepted Christ as
a young girl while watching
a Billy Graham Crusade.
The Kramers were married
in July 1997. They have
two sons, Kenny and Adian.
God has placed within
Sean and Tina's hearts
a desire to minister to
in Central Asia. It is
their prayer that, through
evangelism, discipleship
and church-planting, many
will turn to Christ and
worship Him.

Letter (Permission
has been granted to post
this letter.)
Hello everyone,
We have some exciting
news to share with you.
We are going to have a
baby on January 5, 2005.
We are hoping to end the
streak of 5 boy grandchildren.
Indeed, Sean is youngest
son of three sons, so
this pattern is in its
second generation. If
the baby is a son we will
name him Oluf and if the
baby is a girl we will
name her Brumhilda. I
would like to have twins,
but if I say so, I think
Tina will whack me.
We are going to be in
the States in October
to visit Sean's family
in California and then
on to Pennsylvania in
November. This is not
really a furlough since
Tina will be in no condition
for long road trips and
presentations. We are
looking forward to seeing
you all, and hope you
will be up for visiting
us in a tent, a circus,
a barn or wherever the
Lord provides for us to
stay.
Tina is currently about
to enter her third month
of all day sickness. The
mis-nomer, "morning
sickness", is just
that for Tina. She is
miserable about 75% of
the time and very miserable
another 10% of the time.
It is a very effective
weight loss program. Sigh....
We are so happy that God
has blessed us with a
new little person on the
way, but with the unrelenting
sickness, it becomes hard
to maintain a thankful
attitude. Clearly Tina
struggles the most, but
it also effects Sean since
he has become Mr. Mom
and Dad with little break.
The heat is intense these
days and our tired AC
is barely able to keep
the inside temp at 80
degrees. They say the
temperature is over 40
degrees celsius (100+
F), but somehow Sean is
finding that his body
is able to adjust fairly
well to the heat. Tina
is not so fortunate. And
the boys? They are as
happy as clams and don't
feel too cooked by the
heat.
And how about some answered
prayer??? Kenny and Aidan
are really enjoying themselves
more and more with the
local boys and girls.
With their American/Canadian
friends departure for
furlough, Kenny and Aidan
have been forced to play
with neighbor friends.
Kenny has been learning
the language for the past
two years and he feels
much more comfortable
being immersed in it.
Two days ago, Sean and
the boys went to a waterfall
and pond in a nearby village
and the boys had a great
time getting wet and being
silly with the other boys
and girls while their
daddy enjoyed a nice talk
with an older grandpa.
That Grandpa later invited
them to his home nearby
for lunch. At his mud
brick home, they had a
great meal and the boys
helped irrigate their
garden and played with
the baby chicks. Kenny's
adjustment in this area
is a certain answer to
prayer. Thank you for
praying.
love you lots,
the Kramers |
