Jerusalem, and in all

to the ends of the earth."

Letter
When Jesus (Chuy) Davalos
received Christ at age
16, he immediately felt
the call of the Lord to
missionary service and
started evangelistic work
within the church he attended.
At age 18 he enrolled
in a Bible seminar in
Durango, Mexico. When
he returned to Tijuana
he became a pastor. After
five years as a pastor,
Chuy started to work with
young people in Tijuana
and developed a Youth
Enterprise Club for gangs
and delinquents.
The Davalos’ ministry
includes establishing
churches, training missionaries
and setting up camps.
Chuy is in charge of a
camp in Ensenada called
Agua Viva (Living Water)
which he uses as a center
for missionary preparation.
Chuy’s goal is to
establish churches in
cities and villages where
there are no churches
and where the Gospel has
not been preached.
Prayer
Letter
December 8, 2004
Romans 10:13-15
For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved. How then
shall they call on him
in whom they have not
believed? And how shall
they believe in Him of
whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear
without a preacher? And
how shall they preach,
except they be sent? As
it is written: How beautiful
are the feet of them that
preach the gospel of peace,
and bring glad tidings
of good things!
To all of you who love
Jesus Christ: May the
peace of the Lord be with
you at all times, let
this peace and love for
Jesus be multiplied in
your hearts. Rejoice with
me and glorify the Lord
with me for one more year
of preaching and training
in the ministry to students
who have come from different
parts of Mexico, and that
they will take the good
news to many parts.
Yes, this fourth of December
2004, we had the graduation.
Now these laborers will
return to their town,
Indian villages, and cities
to share the gospel. What
a privilege!
You know my brothers?
Each time I stop and think
for a moment, of how fast
this year went by and
of how we were being blessed
by our Lord each and every
day, bringing souls to
Christ and restoring marriages,
opened missions and laborers
prepared, I want to clap
my hands and sing and
jump for joy in thanksgiving.
I also want to the thank
Him, because even though
I have been hurting from
my heels, and had problems
to walk, the Lord worked
in me, and I could move
to exalt the Lord. In
all of this you have your
reward. I want to thank
you for all your prayers,
and for supporting me
in your ministry. In the
name of Jesus Christ,
I want to thank you once
again. May the Lord multiply
His love, and His blessings
upon you.
And from Jesus Christ,
who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten
of the dead, and the price
of the kings of the earth,
unto Him that loved us,
and washed us from our
sins in His own blood,
and has made us kings
and priests unto God His
Father; to Him be the
glory and dominion forever
and ever. Amen! Rev. 1:5,
6.
Once again keep praying
with me for the many souls
who have been saved, and
for all the men and women
who have been trained.
Among them: Jose, Lupita,
Natividad, Efrain and
Elizabeth. This group
is scheduled to go up
in the mountains to the
Indian villages to spread
the gospel, where in some
of the villages civilization
has not even reached them
yet.
Also, please help me pray
for the mission we opened
in Colonia Mariano Matamoros
in Tijuana. This mission
has been vandalized, and
we don’t know who
did it, nobody knows anything.
For this time, we have
temporarily closed this
mission until we find
another place to rent.
Vandals stole everything
from chairs to tarps,
wood, and whatever equipment
we had. Please pray for
the souls who have been
saved here in the mission.
We hope and pray that
we find another place
soon.
Thank you for all your
prayers and economical
support. Thank you for
your love.
Thank you for your prayers
because my heels don’t
hurt so much. My daughter
Eva and my wife Maria
were very sick, but now
they are better. Thank
you for loving us and
for being part of our
hearts.
I pray that our heavenly
Father let His glory shine
in all your hearts this
Christmas.
From my wife Maria, from
my daughter Eva, and from
myself, we wish you a
Merry Christmas and a
very Happy New Year 2005.
With Jesus Love,
Jesus “Chuy”
Davalos
