| "Likewise,
teach the older women
to be reverent in the
way they live, not to
be slanderers or addicted
to much wine, but to teach
what is good. Then
they can train the younger
women to love their husbands
and children, to be self-controlled
and pure, to be busy at
home, to be kind, and
to be subject to their
husbands, so that no one
will malign the Word of
God." Titus
2:3-5
Our
Women's Ministries is
all about connecting
with God, each other,
and our world.
That means we encourage
women to grow deeper
in their relationship
with God, to promote
friendship and accountability
with other women, and
develop creative and
effective outreaches
into the community and
the world.
Here
are some of the things
that are going on in
our women's ministry:
A.B.C. Cafe
Adult and Baby Connection
Cafe is a mommy and
baby playgroup designed

Walking Group

you been wanting to
get some exercise, but
need some help with
motivation? Walk
on our beautiful peninsula
with friends!
What could be better?!
Heart-to-Heart
Heart-to-Heart implements
the Titus 2:3-5 teaching
in a fun and creative
way. This is a
ministry of mutual encouragement.
It is a friendship of
support, guidance, and
love. Women have
the opportunity to develop
friendships between
older and younger women.
You will meet together,
pray for each other,
and do things together
(whether it be Bible
study, shopping, learning
a new skill or going
to lunch; each set of
partners if free to
do what they want as
long as they work on
developing the relationship).
The experience, empathy,
maturity and spirituality
of older women create
an enormously powerful
reservoir of untapped,
God-given strength from
which the kingdom of
God can benefit.
The younger women will
be ministering and caring
for the older women
as well. The focus
will be to encourage
one another to depend
upon God.
